An EF-2 twister left relatively weak damage along the Knox/Henry County line on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities reports the EF-2 touched down in Knox County and moved northeast toward Galva around 9:20 p.m. Two power poles snapped, and one home suffered damage to its roof shingles. Another house had its roof completely ripped off. One person suffered minor injuries.
The NWS reports the tornado traveled 1.29 miles, with estimated wind speeds of up to 120 miles per hour.
Two EF-1 tornadoes in western Henry County on Wednesday evening left uprooted trees and building damage.
