Kayla Stratton, the young Streator mother missing for a week now, has been found safe and her alleged abductor arrested.
The F-B-I's Violent Crimes Task Force found them both this evening in Calumet City, outside of Chicago.
Investigators say Stratton disappeared last Friday night after her car was rear-ended, her 11-month old son left behind.
the child is fine and with family now.
Clarence Merritte, the baby's father, has been arrested in connection with the abduction.
He's being held now without bond on a variety of charges including domestic battery, aggravated assault and unlawful restraint.
The La Salle County Sheriff's office had just offered a $5,000 reward earlier Friday for information helping to solve the case.
It's not clear yet if anyone is in line to receive that reward.
