At least 5 people are dead after a shooting at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida on Friday, according to NBC News.
NBC is reporting at least 13 others were shot.
The shooter is in custody, according to local law enforcement. The mayor of Ft. Lauderdale told the Associated Press that a lone shooter is responsible.
NBC said the shooting happened at the Terminal 2 baggage claim.
In a tweet, President-elect Donald Trump said "Monitoring the terrible situation in Florida. Just spoke to Governor Scott. Thoughts and prayers for all. Stay safe!"
Former George W. Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer tweeted that shots were fired and "everyone is running" shortly before noon.
