You might be bundled up and ready for winter weather- but are your pipes?
A local expert has a warning for home owners - especially those with crawl spaces or attics - to wrap your pipes.
It is a small step that could prevent a big hassle.
And, says Trouble Free Plumbing Heating and Cooling President David Osborn, the right time to prepare is before the sub zero temperatures hit.
He suggests wrapping pipes with insulation that is between 3/4 to one inch thick.
He also recommends you keep and eye on your sump pump and check it regularly, in case you do have a flooding issue.
