EAST PEORIA, Ill. -- The 25 News Toys For Tots campaign got a huge boost Monday, thanks to one man who makes it his mission every year to put smiles on kids' faces.
Kenneth Armstrong from North Pekin backed in a truckload of stuffed bears- large and small- Tonka trucks, and even a tiny pink tea set.
The gifts are for the Toys For Tots campaign, which is run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
Armstrong has donated for nearly a decade, and he says he doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon.
"As long as I am breathing," said Armstrong.
"We do it because we enjoy buying something for the children. Even if we never see them. We know, hopefully we can make some child happy," he said.
If you would like to make a donation, stop by 25 News and leave your gift in the donation box at the front door.
