Many children are walking into the doctor's office with high blood pressure... and walking out without proper treatment.
Researchers at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia analyzed the health records of over 400,000 kids with abnormal blood pressure readings.
Less than a quarter of those with high blood pressure at multiple doctor's visits had been diagnosed with hypertension.
Of those who had been diagnosed, researchers say just six percent were on medication for the disease.
