I joined WEEK in August of 2016 as a meteorologist for 25 News Today.

I started my career as an intern at WHBF-TV in the Quad Cities, then worked at WREX-TV in Rockford as the weekend meteorologist and photographer.

I was born and raised in Illinois, growing up in East Moline. I graduated from United Township High School in 2011. I continued my education at Northern Illinois University where I received a bachelor’s degree in Meteorology. While in school, I earned the Deans' Award in the Department of Geography for my contributions to the academic community and achieving scholastic excellence in the field of meteorology. I graduated in the Spring of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a Graphic Information Systems certificate.

In my free time, I love everything about sports. From playing anything from basketball to golf. In fact, I played both varsity basketball and baseball while in high school and was part of the all-academic team for both sports.

Little known facts from myself:
"I played both varsity basketball and baseball while in high school and was part of the all-academic team for both sports. Unfortunately my love for sports has gotten me in trouble before. I tore my ACL playing pickup basketball during my college years. Before my internship with WHBF-TV, I actually had no desire to work in the broadcasting world. I wanted to work for the National Weather Service. However, I ended up falling in love with being on TV. Also, I'm a big video game nerd".
