Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood finished his three game rehab with the Peoria Chiefs on Friday Night by retiring all three batters he faced in the first inning. Wood threw 13 pitches. nine of them for strikes and struck out one.
His next step is to throw two innings with Triple-A Iowa.
Cubs General Manager Jim Hendry watched Wood throw on Friday Night.
