Kerry Wood threw one inning of relief for the Peoria Chiefs on Tuesday night as part of a rehab assignment. Wood threw 12 pitches and hit 93 MPH on the radar gun. He walked one batter. Wood picked up the win as the Chiefs won for the 8th time in 9 games 9-3. Wood is expected to pitch for the Chiefs again on Thursday and Friday.
