In February, Shaun Livingston suffered an injury to his left leg and knee so gruesome that ESPN warned viewers of its graphic nature before showing tape of it.

Less than 5 months later the Peoria Central product and Los Angeles Clippers guard is back on his feet and hosting his annual camp this week at Central High School.

Livingston damaged nearly every part of his knee and could miss the entire NBA season. But his rehab is going well and is being documented by a crew from the ESPN show "Outside the Lines".

Shaun says the camera crew that follows him around each day serves as a tremendous motivator.

"I think it's keeping me out in the public eye. It's doing a good job of letting everybody know I am making a comeback and that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. This isn't a career ending injury. This has given me a chance to show my work ethic and show people how determined I am to come back."

Livingston also revealed he has not seen video of his injury. Nor does he want to. He says wouldn't want seeing the injury to affect his confidence.
