On the eve of the Major league All–Star game, the Peoria Chiefs get a taste of the big leagues.
Detroit Tiger and All–Star Magglio Ordonez made a rehab start with West Michigan against Peoria.
Ordonez went 1-4 with a run scored as the Whitecaps beat the Chiefs 10-2.
It's only the Chief's 3rd loss in three weeks.
Peoria returns home to O'Brien Field on Wednesday Night.
