The Rivermen rode a Julian Talbot hat trick to a 5-2 win over the Lake Erie Monsters Friday night.

Peoria jumped out to a 3-0 lead over Lake Erie in the first period. Talbot scored Peoria's first two goals. Nikolay Lemtyugov gave the Rivermen a 3-0 lead with an unassisted goal. Lemtyugov had two goals as Peoria won for the second time in the last three games.

The Rivermen host Iowa Saturday night at 7 p.m. on Midget Wrestling Night.
