At almost 40 years old Kenton Carr had many nicknames as the Extreme's backup quarterback last season.

Extreme Wide Receiver James Walton said, "Pops, Grandpa Carr what ever you call your grandparents back in the day that's what Kenton was getting."

Now he has a new nickname. Coach

Extreme Coach Kenton Carr said, "They kind of thought of me as the older veteran. That's been around for a while. A lot of them called me dad, I didn't really want to say that but. I don't think it's been a huge transition. I think the guys are ok with it. Like I said I've been around for a while."

Extreme Quarterback Dusty Burk said, "He does have a little age difference. He wasn't the youngest player on the team but you know they're professionals and we're professionals so he's our coach now and not our teammate and we hold him in that regard."

Walton said, "I think it just comes naturally because we respected him so much as a player and everything that he did as a player it just comes naturally as a coach."

Heading into tonight's game. His first on the sidelines Carr has just one worry.

Carr said, "I want to win. That's the biggest thing. We've got a good team here; we've got a good staff now we just have to make sure we win."
