Limestone Softball Headed to State

By WEEK Sports

The Limestone softball team survives Murphy's Law today to win the supersectional and go to state for the first time since 1987.
The Lady Rockets game was moved from ISU to Northern Illinois...their bus broke down on the way to pick them up and had to wait for a replacement...and there was no trophy for them after the win. It's still at ISU.

Pitcher Mackenzie Camp threw a no-hitter and Limestone defeated Freeport 4-0.
The Rockets will play Friday at noon at Eastside Center in East Peoria against Marengo.
