Bradley couldn't overcome a double-digit deficit for the first time in the last three games, as they lost at Tulsa 73-68 in Game One of the College Basketball Invitational Championship Series.

The Braves trailed 65-53 in the second half, but came back to cut the deficit to 66-64 on a Sam Maniscalco three-point basket. That was as close as Bradley would get, losing 73-68. The Braves shot just 4-19 from three-point range, were outscored 22-10 at the free throw line, and lost the battle of the boards 47-30.

Jeremy Crouch led Bradley with 16 points, but was just 1-7 from 3-point range. Daniel Ruffin was the only other Brave in double figures with 15 points.

Bradley hosts Tulsa in Game Two of the Championship series Wednesday night at 7. If a Game 3 is necessary, it would be in Tulsa on Friday.
