Bradley Talks About Comeback Against Ohio

By Josh Simon

With 10 minutes left in last night's Bradley game many fans were getting ready to pack up, head home and start waiting for next year.
But that's when the Braves came alive, outscoring the Ohio 30–10 the last nine minutes.
Bradley advances to the CBI Final Four, visiting Virginia tomorrow night.
Winner goes to the finals.

As Bradley went to the locker–room down 42–29 at the half there was a quiet feeling amongst the players that the game was far from over.

Bradley Senior Guard Jeremy Crouch said, "A lot wasn't said we just kind of knew just by looking around and seeing the body language in the locker-room that we knew we were capable of making a run."

And that's exactly what they did. The Braves went on an incredible run scoring 30 of the last 40 points.

Crouch said, "It all started on defense that’s something we talked about in the timeouts, was getting stops and getting out to runs. They did a pretty good job of guarding our half-court stuff and we were pretty impatient, but we got a little run going and it was a ball rolling down the hill and once we go it going we felt pretty good."

Bradley coach Jim Les said, "I think part of their personality is they’re resilient. They’ve had to go through a lot of different things and I think this is a competitive group and they felt like they didn’t put their best foot forward in the first twenty minutes and they really responded."

Bradley advances to the Final Four...
Albeit not in the tournament they'd hope to make at the beginning of the season.

Les said, "There’s a tournament and there’s a champion and the reason we’re getting in is cause our goal and our expectation is to win this whole thing."

Bradley Sophomore guard Andrew Warren said, "Anytime you’re in a “Mid-major” conference, anytime you get to play one of the BCS schools you just want to go out there and show we can compete just as well. We’re not going there just to say we made the final four of the CBI, we’re not content. We’re going to go there and play our game, play hard and try to get a win."
