Adam Rebholz passed for a pair of touchdowns and ran for two more and led Bloomington Central Catholic to a 37-28 victory over Aurora Christian Friday to win the state 4A football title in Champaign.

The Saints won state titles in 1A (1982) and 2A (1987) under coach John McIntyre and previously won the 3A title (1994) under current coach Bob Moews. Their victory Friday wraps up an undefeated season in which they went 14-0.

Rebholz was the offensive star, completing 16 of 21 passes for 319 yards. He also rushed for 80 yards on 15 carries, sealing the win when he scored on a 1-yard quarterback keeper with just 1:28 to play in the fourth quarter.

Central Catholic's seniors end a run in which they lost only two games in 4 years.

Also on Friday Stark County lost its 1A title game to Concord Triopia, 42-7.
