The Bradley women’s basketball team has helped raise nearly $35,000 over the past four seasons through its Hoops for the Cure event. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game and will receive free admission with a $2 donation to assist breast cancer research. Breast cancer survivors will receive free admission and will be recognized at halftime of the game. In addition, the first 1,500 fans will receive a free Awareness Ribbon Clip.

Coach Buscher will also be extending a Coach’s Challenge, pledging $25 for every Bradley three-point basket made against the Sycamores and invites others to take part in her challenge. Anyone willing to participate can fill out the attached form or can contact Mary Lou Janssen at (309) 677-3617 to make a pledge (either per three-pointer or for a flat dollar amount).

Additional promotions include the Nixon Insurance Ball Toss at halftime, with all proceeds from Ball Toss matched by Nixon Insurance. Fans can also purchase "In Honor" or "In Memory" of Pink Basketballs (small $1/large $2) with the proceeds from both the ball toss and pink basketballs going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Methodist Breast Health Center personnel will be at the game to provide information about breast cancer and the Methodist Mobile Mammography Unit will be at Robertson Memorial Field House from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to make an appointment is encouraged to call (309) 672-8282.
