Due to unexpected issues with AT&T's underground phone duct banks along Airport and Pfeiffer Roads, the Peoria County Highway Department has revised its construction plans to avoid interruption and lengthy delays. Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, northbound Airport Road will be closed for approximately six weeks. Northbound traffic will be detoured to LaFayette Avenue. Southbound Airport Road traffic will not be affected by this closure.
