Caterpillar Mossville workers be prepared for big back-ups as you head back to work. Find out why in this week's Construction Brake.

Crews will start putting in the pavement on Eastbound Illinois Route Six at the Route 29 intersection. The work begins at 8 in the morning on Tuesday and won't wrap up until Wednesday. IDOT is warning of long delays.

In East Peoria, the Pinecrest Drive on ramp to eastbound 74 is closed this week. So far, crews have made the repairs to the two westbound ramps. The entire ramp reconstruction will last until the end of September.

And, those truss painters still need to apply their last coat. Crews were not on 74 this weekend but will be back September 5th to finish the job.
