Drivers in Bartonville can expect more back-ups this week. Besides Airport Road, another main artery gets clogged with construction barrels.

We start this week's construction brake warning motorists who use U.S. 24 near the Interstate 474 interchange. Starting Monday, road repairs will reduce westbound 24 to one lane through Thursday. Motorists should expect lengthy delays during rush hour.

Also, Peoria County closed Elmore Road this week between the Peoria-Galesburg Trail and Swab Run Road.
