Snow Advisory for Central Illinois remains in effect untll early Friday morning, even though most of the snow showers had ended late Thursday night.
Peoria city and county had removed a traffic collision alert.

Several car accidents were reported Thursday evening. Emergency officials were asking motorists to take caution and slow down on the roads.
As of 11 p.m. about two inches of snow had fallen in the Peoria area. The city of Peoria said snow plows were out in force...with some Peoria crews scheduled to work 12 hour shifts.
