Police throughout our viewing area are responding to numerous fender benders and cars sliding into ditches after today's snow.

Around six o'clock this morning, two semis were involved in an accident on Interstate 39 near El Paso.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital.

Police closed the interstate for a while as they investigated and cleaned up debris.

In Peoria County, a Limestone Township fire truck rolled over on Lancaster Road on its way to another accident.

There were two firefighters on board. They were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Larry Estep with the Limestone Township Fire District said, "They were pulled out of the apparatus without any problem."

Police say all motorists need to slow down and allow more time to get to their destination today.
