Bumper to bumper traffic in the westbound lane is expected to end by late tomorrow afternoon.

Workers are removing the concrete barrier along the bridge.

This project has caused traffic delays on the westbound lane for the last 10 weeks.

Drivers should be cautious and patient tomorrow as the contractors reduce traffic on the bridge to a single lane during the day in order to remove the barrier.

Contractors needed to replace old expansion joints on the bridge. The project was originally to be completed next week.
