At Illinois State University, students began trickling in this morning, but the volume was not heavy right away.

Some of the students News 25 spoke to say they wanted to make their voices heard in the history making democratic presidential race.

Ronnell Robinzine said, "I've always wanted to vote and I will keep on voting."

Patrice Pope added, "Being a black woman you want to vote for a woman, but I think I will vote for Obama.

I.S.U. Political Science Professor Bob Bradley said, "I think Obama in a variety of ways is a force of nature.....which is change."

Professor Bradley says he hopes that students continue to participate in the political process in the future.

He says student turnout for the 2004 general election at ISU was record breaking, but he expects the number to be even higher this November.
