Missing Woman Found Safe

Canton Illinois Police say Jamie D. Howard, a resident of Sunset Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Canton, has been located.

She left the facility on the morning of September 16Th.

Howard suffers from schizophrenia, cancer and is bi-polar.

This morning, shortly before noon, Police got word that Howard had knocked on the door of a Fulton County resident asking for help.

The 44 year old woman had apparently been living in a grain bin about two miles south of Canton.

She was dehydrated and had lost weight.

Howard was taken to Canton's Graham Hospital for treatment.
