Chris Spahn Benefit

By WEEK Producer

A Washington man in June began his third round of treatment fighting Hodgkin Lymphoma this summer.

Chris Spahn had his first battle with the blood cancer in 19–96. Then for 11–years he was in remission. In 2007... the cancer was back and had damaged his vertebrae so he had major back surgery. This June, it was discover it had returned again and Chris needs a bone marrow transplant.

To help cover the transplant costs his insurance does not pay for friends of Spahn are holding a benefit for him.

The benefit is on October 18th ... a family fun part from noon until 3 p.m. And adult only part from 5 p.m. to midnight.
If you cannot go and would like to help out the family, you can send checks payable to the Spahn Family Fund to Tim Hinds in Peoria.
