Jammin' For Josh

By WEEK Reporter

More than 800 people attended the event in honor of Farmington Central Junior High School student Josh Ruchotzke.

People of all ages gathered at the I-Too hall in Peoria Saturday for Josh.

Last year Josh went through several emergency surgeries for a severe infection.

The Farmington eighth grader lost both of his legs and several fingers due to the infection.

To help off set the major medical costs... today's fundraiser included several bands and even a bean bag tournament... which Josh participated in.

Josh says he was amazed by the number of people who showed up to his benefit.

He says he didn't even know many of them.

Josh is now back in school and doing well.
