Woman Raises $16-Thousand for Alzheimer's Research

By WEEK Producer

Who says one person can't make a difference.

You may remember Connie Cook; she was sitting on the roofs of businesses raising money for Alzheimer's research.

She was hoping to raise 20–thousand dollars in her "Forget–Me–Not Camp–Out for a Cure" project.

In the end ... Cook raised 16–thousand dollars.

It just goes to show you what one person can do.

Cook says she'll be back next year.
