This year's race to the White House is nearing the finish line, but for those of you still feeling puzzled about politics, Vote-Smart is here to help. The non-partisan organization started 16 years ago.

Its goal - getting the facts and figures on all of the candidates out to the public. This year the Vote-Smart bus is making its national debut, stopping in Peoria Saturday morning.

Employees say they're glad to take their message on the road, but worry it will still be hard to reach many voters by November.

"It takes more time. That's the hardest part, is that it takes more time. It's very efficient to move someone emotionally in an ad, to play on fears, insecurities, these kinds of things that we see on television everyday. It takes a little bit more time to show them a system where they can inform themselves," Tallie Spiller, Press Secretary for Vote-Smart, says.

On Sunday, the Vote-Smart bus will stop in Alton, Illinois before making its way to Nebraska, before heading back home to its headquarters in Montana.
