Special Delivery

By WEEK Producer

A hundred patients from the Children's Hospital of Illinois received a special delivery Monday.

17–year–old Taylor Eichleberger and her 11–year–old sister Amy created and hand delivered 100 cards for cancer patients at the hospital.

Taylor decided to make these cards while discussing with her family about her volunteering.

"I volunteer here on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays.
And on Mondays, I'm in the flower and mailroom.
And I just noticed a lot of the cards mostly went to adult patients, so I went home and told my family about that.
And they were like "oh, you should see if we can make some cards for kids," said Taylor.

The two sisters are continuing to make cards and plan to make more deliveries later on.
