15 year old Travis Sylvester went missing last Sunday.
Friends of the boy report they have maintained communication with Sylvester through the social network myspace.
His mother Tammy says she thinks her son is in Creve Cour, East Peoria, or Pekin based on what friends have told her.

She said, "Since Sunday the 29th I'm out 24/7 his step mom and father are out almost 24/7 people are just out 24/7 and you just you know get our son home".

The boy's mom says he was angry because he was previously grounded for sneaking out.
Travis Sylvester has brown hair, blue eyes, and is 5'4''. He weighs about 120 LBS.

Anyone who has information on the boys whereabouts should call Pekin Police at 477–2340.

Hope he comes home. Let him know when he does that I know for a fact that predators exist, I've recently experienced it with my teenage niece. The man in ? was a 24 year old from NC, now what do you think he was up to? Maybe BC was right, let him see what juv is like, at least the parents will be at ease knowing where he is. Best of luck

Who was the young man communicating with on My Space???I hope that you taught him about predators on the internet. There are older men who pretend that they are sixteen,so you better check out his My Space account.I hope that he comes home soon.Sometimes a teenager who has an anger problem will stay away for three weeks .

HOPE THEY FIND HIM AND HE IS OK. ONCE THEY SEE HE IS OK I THINK HE NEEDS TO BE THROWN INTO JUV. HALL TO SEE WHAT HIS LIFE WILL BE LIKE IF HE DOES NOT STRAIGHTEN OUT. BEST OF LUCK TO THE PARENTS.
