A sexual assault victim took the stand this afternoon in the Jeff Pelo rape trial.
She testified it was a brutal attack that lasted two hours the night of January 25, 2005.
The victim said she went to bed late after preparing for her upcoming wedding.
She said, "I had just dosed and woke up to someone coming into my room."
She testified the man identified as Jeff Pelo, threatened to kill her family if she made a sound or called the police.
In her testimony today, she said she told the rapist that she was pregnant...
and the attacker asked ....
"If we would keep the baby knowing I was raped while I was pregnant?"
After the victim's testimony, her mother told News 25......
"No parent should have to listen to that...the testimony of their daughter who was raped."
This morning jurors saw the videotaped interrogation of a clearly agitated and argumentative Pelo.
A fellow officer had found him outside a woman's home in the middle of the night.
In the video, detectives are heard telling Pelo they don't believe he was outside the home scouting property for his mother in-law.
A newspaper deliveryman also testified that he saw a man... whom he later identified in a police lineup as Pelo... peering through the window of another home in the overnight hours in February 2006.
Pelo is accused of breaking into the homes of four women and raping them...and the stalking of a fifth woman.
If convicted on all counts he faces life in prison.
