Kewanee Woman Dies After Crash Earlier This Week

A Kewanee woman has died from injuries she suffered in a crash earlier this week. Maria Martinez Rodriguez was pronounced dead at 8-30 Sunday morning at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

Police say 52-year old Rodriguez pulled into the path of a van near the Route-six exit ramp on War Memorial Drive.

A passenger, 57-year-old Adrian Rodriguez was also transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical center. He was treated and released.
