According to new Federal guidelines, the 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid gets 45 miles to the gallon in highway driving, but the only one on the lot at the Bob Lindsay dealership is already sold.

Sales Manager Mike Bowermaster said, "It is a thirty day wait for the new Civic Hybrid."

Officials at the Peoria SUDS Dealership say customers are already coming in and asking about the new Volkswagon Jetta Diesel.

Volkswagon is promising 45 miles a gallon with the Jetta. It goes on sale in September.

The politicians are going to nothing to help us. What this country needs is to have a total collapse and then we can get some fresh blood in these seats.

I live in Georgia where our gas is about 3.70. i do all i can to conserve gas. Its almost to the point I cant afford to drive to work. I filled my Chevy Venture up to the note of 85.00 and i have to do that twice a month.

My monthly gas bill has gone from $80 to over $300. Where do government officials think I'm getting the extra $220/month? We've cut back on eating out, shopping & the extra things we used to do. When will they realize gas prices greatly impact the economy of the common people?

I have actually cut out any unnesscary driving. Only shopping at stores that is on my way or from work, same with gas station. Every thing is in my path of travel; and now I rarely venture off of it. By the way, I drive a GMC Envoy and right now its belly is full at $80.00 a pop!
