Crews from Logan and McLean Counties are back searching for 18-year-old Billy Ray Eskew.

Friends of Eskew told police they last saw him Tuesday morning around 7:00 a.m.

Police and volunteers are using everything from horses to boats to helicopters to search the campsite area south of Lincoln.

The campsite was located at the Sportsmen's Park facility near Salt Creek.

The creek is said to be several feet above its usual level due to recent rains and the current is swift.

Eskew's friends didn't notify police he was missing until about 12 hours after they last saw him, apparently believing he might have gone home.

Our news partner, the Pantagraph, is reporting officials have ended the intensive ground search near the campsite where he went missing, but they will continue to search the creek.

Anyone with information about Eskew is asked to call the Logan County Sheriff’s Office at (217) 732-4159.
