There's been no ruling on what caused yesterday's fire in Sunnyland that left more than a dozen people homeless. In fact, firefighters were called back to the leisure Acres adult living center today when the fire flared up again.

Several of the displaced residents are currently staying at Morton Villa.
Last night we reported the executive director bought the fire victims new clothes with her own money. Her kindness is spreading throughout the community. Colleen Kamin says about six people have dropped off donations for the victims. Dozens of people have called the Villa asking what they need or how they can help. Villa and Morton Terrace employees have also opened their hearts and their pocketbooks.

Kamin said, " Staff is actually excited about being a part of something like this and they'd like to help also so we'll be calling Leisure Acres seeing what people need and what we can provide for them."

If you would like to contribute to the cause, you can call Morton Villa at 266–9741.
