People Give From The Heart For Fire Victims

By Syreeta Baker

Donations are pouring in to aid the 13 senior citizens displaced by the blaze.

Today employees at Care Solutions in Morton loaded up gift boxes for victims of Tuesday's fire.

Each box contains everyday necessities ranging from toothpaste to shampoo.

Debbie Jackson who coordinated the effort says this is just a small part of their effort to help.

She said, "Walmart in Washington was generous enough to give us 25-dollar gift certificates for each unit. We're giving health services 25-dollar certificates for each displaced resident."

Care Solutions along with the Northern Tazewell County Fire Department is accepting donations on behalf of Leisure Acres.
