Family members of one victim watched as the jury questioning continued in the Pelo rape trial.

Jeff Pelo faces 35 charges, including 28 counts of aggravated criminal assault and four counts of home invasion.

Prosecutors say Pelo stalked victims in Bloomington between December 2002 and January 2005.

Investigators found a mask and other items in his home that they believe link him to the crimes.

But the defense questions how the women could identify their attacker, since he wore a mask.

Lawyers in the case also revealed that they could call up to 115 potential witnesses in the case.

Pelo has been jailed since his 2006 arrest.

If convicted of all charges he could face life in prison.

Attorneys say the opening statements for the trial could begin by Thursday.
