Correctional Officer Faces Charges

By Michelle Mantel

A former McLean County correctional officer faces six felony charges.

Thirty-four-year-old Robert Hall faces charges of sexual misconduct and intimidation charges in connection with his work at McLean County Jail.

Hall allegedly exposed himself and made sexually explicit comments to female inmates at the jail.

Hall's duties included monitoring and supervising female inmates.

A McLean County prosecutor says Hall had improper contact with four female inmates in between June 2006 and March of this year.

Hall was arrested on Monday, but posted a $2,000 bond and was released.

Hall is scheduled to appear in court on May 30.
