Route 6 Ready For Road Work

A major local intersection gets a major makeover starting this week. Starting Monday, reconstruction begins at the intersection of the Illinois Route 6 and Route 29 in Mossville. Expect traffic delays as this work will take until November to complete.

Also in Peoria County, Eden Road will close from Smithville to Pleasant Grove from Tuesday to Friday.

Meanwhile, eastbound traffic over the McClugage Bridge should expect one final week worth of one lane traffic.

And, there's also one week left of lane reductions on Allen Road near Northmoor Road.
