With food prices on the rise some companies are trying their best to give consumers a break.
The Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurants in the Peoria area are advertising that their rates are not going up.
Bartlett Management Services, which owns this K-F-C in Morton, reports their last price increase was in the fall of 2007.
Owners say this is their way of fighting off a recession.
"We're trying to do what we can as a team to cut back on cost and to hold our cost
Still the same great product, same great service but we're actually just trying to do what we can to maintain the 07 prices," says Marvin Irby.
"We like to travel so its gives us a break once in a while to find lower prices in our food," Gerry Carlson.
Right now all 46 of Bartlett Management's K-F-C 's in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin are offering customers 2007 prices.
