This Mothers day weekend some single moms are getting extra special attention.

Today at Cross Roads United Methodist Church in Washington it was 'Single Moms Morning out'.
About 40 mothers from throughout Central Illinois filed into the church for some good old-fashioned rest and relaxation.
Organizers say this gives moms a chance to focus, just on themselves for two whole hours.
"We're welcoming single moms who have so much to do on their own right before Mothers Day and just give them pampering with the massages and foot care, hand care.
There is a blessing table where they can get their children clothing and where they take care of their kids for them," says Marci Weiss.

This is the church's first 'Single Moms' Morning Out'.
They plan on turning this into an annual event.
