If you're on a budget going to the grocery store can be difficult because there are so many choices.

What can people do when they are at the grocery store?

Cover said, "Well there are a lot of general things that people can do that a lot of people take for granted but they really don't do sometimes. Which is making a list before you go to the grocery store. Planning your menus before you go... knowing what you're going to buy before or at least having an idea."

-Shopping with coupons.

"As you go through the store...look for in-store specials. Usually at the front of the store, many stores will have flyers that will announce their specials."

Many stores will offer real specials like 10 for 10 and many people don't realize they don't have to buy 10 of the item.

With the cost of groceries now going up so drastically, I think we have to watch our food dollars and be very prudent in our spending.
