On Bloomington's west side Thursday night, residents were telling the city council and administration what they want to see happen with their neighborhood.

The West Bloomington Task Force has already hired an Evenston consulting firm to help develop a report about what's needed.
But, Alderman Karen Schmidt says tonight's meeting was designed to make sure residents and business owners got their say.

The charge of the Task Force is identifying the unique strengths of the West Bloomington community, and promoting economic development for the neighborhood.
