Here's a sight you don't see every day, a horse-drawn wagon traveling on a busy highway.

It's a scene right out of the pioneer west, except the horse-drawn wagon is constantly passed by gas-guzzling cars and trucks.

News 25 found the wagon as it crossed the McClugage Bridge with a police escort.

The wagon's driver is Lee Crafton from Montana. He's traveling across America the way our ancestors did, in a covered wagon pulled by horses and he's doing it just for the fun of it.

His journey began August, 2006 and ended up in Boston last July. He's currently headed toward California, and plans to go on to Alaska in 2010.
