Officers near St. Louis, Missouri, are being questioned after the way they handled a suspect that lead them on a pursuit that crossed state lines.

Police from Ferguson, Missouri, gave chase to a man suspected of robbing a Missouri bank. The situation that unfolds after the pursuit ended what is being called into question.

Police surrounded the suspect and then one officer apparently strikes the suspect while others pile on.

The pursuit began in Missouri, but later crossed state lines into Illinois where the suspect was taken into custody by East St. Louis police.
