Riding for their rights draws motorcycle enthusiasts to the V-F-W Post in East Peoria.

Early this morning about 200 people brought out their bikes for an annual motorcycle ride to Springfield.
These motorcyclists are joining thousands of others from throughout the state to rally at the Capitol for their rights.
Organizers say one of the main reasons behind this ride is to keep the state helmet free.
"Illinois is one of the three states in the United States that doesn't have any form of a helmet law.
You have Illinois, Iowa and Colorado and it's just a freedom of choice and a freedom rally to state that we're out there and it should be our choice," says Richard Stage.

This is the 18th annual A.B.A.T.E freedom rally.
A.B.A.T.E stands for a brotherhood aimed towards education.
