The Big Taste Grill is set-up outside both Cub Foods stores in Peoria. They're selling fresh-grilled brats, potato chips, and bottled water for $2.50.

All the proceeds will benefit the Race for the Cure. This is the 12th year the 53-thousand pound grill is ushering in the outdoor cooking season.

The grill is open again Sunday starting at 10:30 in the morning. The race for the cure is next Saturday, May 10th and there's still time to sign up.

This is a great fund raiser and we look forward to it every year. Imagine how disappointed we were when arrived on Saturday at 4:30 pm and the whole operation was shut down. There was not a single worker. The adds indicated that the hours were 10:30 - 5:00.
