Peoria Company Needs Skilled Employees

Even though talk of recession and job–layoffs is dominating headlines around the country... one Peoria based company, besides Caterpillar, is seeing phenomenal growth.

Advanced Technology Services has more than 80 positions it needs to fill right now.
A–T–S provides maintenance services to large manufacturers like Caterpillar.
To keep up with demand, the company anticipates hiring more than seven hundred workers in the next 18 months.
The company has partnered with Illinois Central College to train and educate new skilled technicians.

"The great thing about the program is the result at the end. If you are in college and going to school right now, the big worry is "will I get a job That is a fear many students experience. With our program we are pretty much guaranteeing them that job and we have 80 positions right now that we need to fill," said Holly Mosack, ATS Recruiting Department Manager.

ATS is holding a Career Fair Saturday, April 26 from eight a–m until noon at its' company headquarters at 8201 North University.
